"A good film but it feels like we have seen it before.Oh wait!We have!It was the 1st one!"
Okay, let me get started by saying this film could have been something.Sure it basically has the same story as the 1st one.A bunch of stuff in a museum come to life and they must stop an egyptian dude. But it feels like the filmakers tried TOO much to beat the 1st one by literally putting in the same jokes from the first one into this one.For example{no spoilers}in the first one Dexter the monkey slaps Larry. But in this one there are 2 monkeys slapping Larry. Also the opening titels are exactly the same as the 1st.Same music, and same style. It just felt like they didnt have any original ideas.
The acting is preety good but the higlight of the film is Amy Adams as Ameilia Eargart who gives off a very believable job as a 1930 woman. She even has a n accent.Good job Amy.Hank Azri as the bad guy and Bill Hader as General Cust er are also some highlights.
The directing is good too but i couldnt put my finger on it but something about it made me want to give it 4 stars.Ill have to see the film again though.
The visuals are good since they actually shot the film in the Smithsonian.
Well,Im gone.
