"Gritty and in your face. Romero's brilliance shines again."

With this 3rd installment to the "Dead" series, Romero has put the human race on the run. The acting is much better in this flick, but beyond that, Savini's make up is eye opening and exciting. I think what I love most about this movie is how Romero has created a parallel between the mindless thinking of the military personnel in this movie and the zombies. Both are trying to eradicate the characters that are "free thinkers" or people who think outside of the box. Romero uses his wit to show how (we) the zombies don't care about anything except to get what we want and to think outside the "popular majority" means you have to fight.
