The film is about a doctor[cruise]his wife[kidman] who have been marrried for along time .as time goes by they become very unfaithful to each other sleeping around and all that.The director[kubrick]emphises this story in a way which majes the characters dependenend of each other though they do not show it.The film lacks a certainty of a brillant story its good that it has some sex scenes but far to many,hard to remember.Definetly not the movie to take your children to watch.
