This movie did not at all live up to the first one. When I sat down on my couch, flicked on the TV, turned on the movie, and got my butt comfortable, I expected to see a great action movie. Well, I was disappointed. First of all, it was much too dark. It was hard to see what was going on. It was like the director was trying to be mysterious about the predators and aliens, yet I think we all knew what they were like. That was somewhat of the job for AVP 1, but AVP 1 still had a lot of great action. AVPR was just a plain disappointment.
