Very disappointing — A "Blair Witch Project" re-make with a large budget.

I adore science fiction and horror movies but Cloverfield is a complete disappointment. Taken from the perspective of a guy with a cheap, hand-held camera — viewers best make sure they carry barf-bags to the theater because constant camera rolls will make people sick to their stomachs. The scenes are all dark (so you never really get a clear shoot of what's going on or what the creature looks like) and grainy with assorted skips and black screens thrown in to annoy viewers. And it just keeps going and going and going — no hints or reasons WHY — no insights are discovered, nothing — just poor quality pictures of New York City burning. Here's an entire movie of bad camera angles, bad picture quality and enough camera swaying to make you wish for an early end. An end which finally comes with out any conclusions, enlightenments, clever twists or interest. I assume more of the same for Cloverfield 2.
