"From the director of "Superbad", you'd think that this would be crap."

When I first saw the trailer for ADVENTURELAND back in the beginning of the year, I didn't know what to think. It looked like another idiotic teenage comedy like "Superbad" in which this movie is directed by the director of that movie. From the direcot of "Superbad", you'd think that this would be crap. But it wasn't. I really, really loved this movie. It was great! It was funny, sweet, and dramatic at the same time. It was the perfect comedy! The movie is kind of dark though in a way and this I would actually name a dark comedy. But, this is definatly worth the watch! If you haven't seen ADVENTURELAND...then do so.

ACTING:

This movie didn't have bad acting. The movie was very well acted and I enjoyed all the performences. Ryan Reynolds, a hilarious guy plays in this while Kristen Stewart, a now-big star since her role in TWILIGHT. I mean, everyone knew her before TWILIGHT but she became bigger to the world since her role as BELLA SWAN. But, the thing I don't like about KRISTEN STEWART is that she always has that same character in a way. Watching her in this, all I see is Bella Swan. The only thing different is that the guy she falls for isn't a vampire and she smokes in this. Other than that, she's kind of the same person as her other characters. I don't know, it just seems that way. It doesn't bother me though. I was just pointing it out. As for all the performences in ADVENTURELAND, they were fine. Nothing bad about the acting.

DIRECTION:

From the director of SUPERBAD. The direction of this movie was great. I liked how the movie was filmed in a dark way, it was interesting. So, as for the film's direction, there was nothing wrong with it.

THE GOOD:

A nice little comedy movie. It will make you laugh and it makes you really care for the characters of the movie. I thought all the characters had great chemistry and everything was good about it.

THE BAD:

The movie can take it self seriously at times but it can get a little silly at points. At the most dramatic times something stupid will happen and it will ruin that part. But, that only happend like twice but other than that this was a great movie!

OVERALL:

OVERALL, a great, funny little movie. Everybody can find some good in ADVENTURELAND. I definatly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good two hours. I loved this movie and maybe you will too! See ADVENTURELAND!
