"Clonig the Governator is this century ultimate goal "
Welcome to the future were people will do almost anything to live longer or have their loves humans or pets stay with them the longer they can . We havent found immortality but we did find the closest thing : CLONING , not only do we physicly clone but we can also mind clone . So let's say your pet is dying , we clone his body then we put a clone of is mind imprint in the new mind he will even remember his death if we dont block that meory first , so like that he will have all the same memory of your last pet , we can also clone humans but it's not really legal yet . So we clone human parts for a price so that people live longer . But secretly we have been cloning humans to make a profit.
Humankind and his search for immortality could bring humanity to some interesting dilema's ,And this movie do address some of them . in my opinion to truly be a perfect inteligent sci-fi flick , it should of been a almost none-action sci0fi flick a la Gattaca but instead it's more of a Arnie action vehicule but I still strongly thing this is quite the underappreciated sci-fi flick.
First the story of Cloning and Immortality will always be quite relevent to me , and even dho it does have some cheesy flaws in ti by times it's quite inteligent and thoughtfull .When Micheal drucker his dying and he looks at his unfinished Clone not really giving a fuck and not waiting till he dies to have the decency to take is place , is really well done , you can clearly see in it's eyes that he is questioning is ''Immoratality status'' , his look is priceless my favorite scene in the entire film
I love how the sets , vehicules ect.. have a futuresque look to it but it's look a more like our society has realisticly evoluated instead of looking like something out of another universe or even dream , like the look that a lot of sci-fi flick go for
I also enjoy a lot the casting , you can never go wrong with Robert Duvall and ive always enjoy watching Arnie in films but am also a big fan of 4 of the other side chaarcters/actors and would watch them in anything Micheal Rappaport , Micheal Rooker ,Terry Crews and Terry Goldwin , I just enjoy their screen presence and do think their underated and underappreciated actors in the buisness
