"Excellent remake of a Romero classic!"

This is probably pretty close visually to what Romero would have made if he would have had the funding. Other than bits of the story and the location, this movie is way different story-wise than the original. The ideas are the same, a hodge-podge of people stuck in a mall with zombies outside. What is missing is the social parallel that Romero provided in his version. I still highly recommend this version due to the acting and visual effects. I have seen this flick around a hundred times and still find it very entertaining.
