"Great Action. I just wish the story was as good as the action."
Quantum of Solace was a pretty good movie. The action never stops, which serves as an advantage and a disadvantage. The advantage of that is a fast paced and cool movie. The down side, though, is that you don't understand the story/plot as much. What I mean is that James Bond and another person will be talking and, while I'm still trying to understand what they are saying, gunshots will start to go off.
While the action is better in Quantum of Solace, the story is better in Casino Royale. At some points it was a little odd, too. I mean, he could kill somebody with one shot from a handgun. However, that was one of those things that you don't realize until after the movie.
The acting was superb. Daniel Craig did a great job as James Bond. I don't think any oyher actor could do that good a job as Bond, while still looking the part. Daniel didn't even smile once during the movie, building up the intensity of the scenes.
To sum it up, yes, the story could have been a lot better, but the chase scenes and action made up for it. I wish that they could have gone a little more in depth with the characters because when one of the supporting actors died, I didn't really feel anything for it. Now, I'm not one to cry when someone dies in a movie, but I usually at least feel a little bit of sadness. Honestly, I was expecting a lot more out of the movie, but the action was still awesome.
