Vikings...but on CGI.The first minutes of the Movie makes me feel disappointed as their eyes have no emotion,same as The Polar Express.The Story line is mixed with Tolkein inspirations & mythological facts.We don't give a damn whether that Naked Hero is true or not,we're just curious about how CGs gonna work.Well,it worked pretty well.They invested their brains not only on the visuals,but also on the Audio.Eeee... that Grendel(Crispin Glover)'s screaming,bust my ears off.The big mistake in this Movie is that it's not about how Beowulf fought against those creepy creatures,it's about one Hot Mama who want to have baby demons.The Title must changed from "Beowulf" to "The Curse Of The Demon Hottie".In 300,Leonidas roars"This Is Spartaaaaa"only once,but his voice is still striking my ears up till now.Beowulf roars"I am Beowulf!"for about how many times?I can't even count them.And believe me U gonna forget his voice when the curtain falls.To be honest,the last battle scene was totally a breath-taking,but it's too late to save a Movie.If the actors have to put on the CG masks & do the actings,Crispin Glover is the one to give the applause.He had to do the mouth thing at all times & act,and Grendel worked out pretty well.Thank god it's from Robert Zemeckis,others would do some serious stuffs,like the one in Apoclypto.If you were tired of being watching same old Viking tales,this is the one not to be miss.Or else don't blame on their emotionless eyes.
