"The Most Popular TV Show Finally Comes On The Big Screen!"
I love watching "The Simpsons" a lot on TV, but when I heard there was going to be a movie, I definitely wanted to see it so bad! I finally got a chance to see this movie in theaters, and I ENJOYED IT!
The story of this movie involves the pollution of Lake Springfield and the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency).
After church, Homer Simpson does his chores, but he instead wants to play truth-or-dare with his son Bart, and I love it when Homer dares Bart to skateboard around town NAKED! Will it show his penis? I'm not telling you! SEE THE MOVIE! But after Bart gets caught by the police, Homer gets himself out of trouble by lying to them when Bart says that Homer dared him to do it! Feeling disappointed, Bart now wished he had a different father. While eating at a restaurant, Homer sees a pig during a commercial shooting of Krusty the Clown's new burger, the Clogger! FUNNY! Homer falls in love with the pig and adapts him as his pet, and he calls him...Spiderpig! And sometime during the movie, the daughter Lisa Simpson falls in love with an Irish boy named Colin who was also a violinist. Now here's where it starts: Homer cleans up the pig's "leavings" in the house and puts them in a silo called "Pig Crap," and he dumps the silo into Lake Springfield, and it caused the pollution of the lake into crisis levels, for which of course Homer didn't know that until later in the movie. The EPA's leader Russ Cargill comes up with an idea of keeping Springfield in a huge glass dome to keep the lake pollution from spreading. Now angry, the mob wanted to know who was responsible for their entrapment, so they search around the lake and they found the "Pig Crap" silo which also had Homer's name on it! Now on the run, the Simpsons family has no choice but to trust Homer's advice on going to live a new life in Alaska. But more things will happen at the end which I will not spoil! This is a movie to watch over and over again!
But my dad hated this movie and my mom fell asleep through the whole thing, and they wouldn't let me see this movie again! SCREW THEM! But thank god I bought the DVD while hanging out at my friend's house, and now I can watch "The Simpsons Movie" whenever I want! IT'S AWESOME! That's my review.
