From the very first scene the movie grabs you into it's wonderfully realised world. Samual L Jackson, John Travolta and Uma Thurman all deliver powerful performances making the characters seem believable

Multiple storys intersect each other and you don't quite know what's going on until the final few scenes. This brings a new twist to the way stories can be told in Hollywood and coupled with the striking visual style creates an instant classic.

Pulp Fiction is the watermark to which every other Tarantino movie has since been judged. Kill Bill Vol. 1 came close but lacked that bang factor.
