"I'm not sure if Foster or Howard is the "braver" in this just short of "middling" effort..."

Shoulda-been, coulda-been PMS-fueled DEATH WISH.

Kinda ended up estrogen drenched cold-fish.

Start with a weak story and poor direction and mix-in flat performances by both Foster and Howard (who are BOTH much better than this effort) and you get barely passable entertainment for a LATE Friday night viewing.

Overall, it's hard to say just where this thing went the most wrong.

Throughout, the story creaks and groans under its own weight. Sure, this SHOULD have been a decent thriller. But predictable and hokey, it falls flat. Then, the director cuts in crazy stuff and fails to really set the mood throughout the film and you feel, just generally, uncomfortable, like this thing is a cheap shoe, found in a dumpster and you just can't quite wiggle yourself into it.

Then, and finally, Howard, Foster (and even the short-lived Andrews) just kinda "phone it in" and try to deliver miserable lines in a miserable setting.

Yeah... I had a lot of other stuff I COULD HAVE watched... and SHOULD HAVE.
