"Cop Lets Murderer Go Clean"
Spoiler ALert! Anyways, so Bacon lets Sean Penn go free? Bacon spends the whole movie tracking down a murderer, even at times thinking he may have to arrest Tim Robbins, and then in the end Sean Penn confesses to the murder of Robbins and he doesn't do anything. Whaaaa? Its like a turd in the punch bowl and no one seems to notice. I had to go on-line after seeing the movie because I missed the first 7 minutes and I was worried I must have missed an important part of the plot which granted Sean Penn a Liscense to Kill. If anything Bacon should have took old Penn out back and shot him in the back of the head like Lenny in Of Mice and Men. Then poor Robbins wife is out in the streets alone and just sorta has to accept Penn's decree of the death penalty on her husband. Sucks to be Tim Robbins character. Not only was the poor guy abducted in his youth, but then his loser friend ends up mistakenly killing him. And the only person who can bring him justice suddenly stops doin his job to watch a parade and hang out with his crazy wife. sheesh. I want my time back. This movie wasted two hours of my life.
