"I Cant Go One Christmas Eve Without Watching Tim Allen Turn To Jolly-Giving Sanit Nick!"
Tim Allen stars as Saint Nick in this 1994 classic that turned into a three-movie series. He stared as Scott Calvin, a non-Santa-believer who becomes the big red guy one Christmas night, Santa falls off his roof. Scott faces becoming the new Claus, and also trying to make neither him nor his son sound crazy, but not when his son only talks about his daddy being the new Santa.
This movie is actually filled with jolly laughs and it's actually a fun hour and a half. Allen does a funny performance as he makes a skinny to fat transformation. The movie had me laughing most of the time.
The plot of the movie may seem corny but its actually not. Its quite funny and interesting and this is a great Holiday Family Film. I mean, I can't go a Christmas Eve without watching this before I go to bed. No Lie! Lol.
There is a downside to this movie though. Yes, its funny and interesting but some parts are a little TOO kidish. I know that it is a kid movie but the least they could have done was put a couple older jokes in it. I mean, Shrek had more inappropriate jokes. They're two different movies, so I wont compare.
One things that kid might discover in this movie, is that Santa isn't real. Considering the fact that the adults believe nothing the whole movie, it may turn kids feelings around. Another thing, that they could have tried staying away from in this movie.
This movie is very good and its one my favorite Holiday movies. This has its good turns and bad turns but Tim Allen shows us a wonderful performance as the Red-Suited, Jolly Laughing, Present Giving, Saint Nick.
