"Killer holliday"
I have only the remake of Black christmas ( really loved it , shamly one of the few) has a christmas horror film in my horror collection to watch during the holiday season , well Gremlins is almost a horror holiday flick , so have got that too . so am on the look out for anything crhistams horror related , so decided to give this a shot . Also the main story about Santa beeing a demon that was force to do that kind of work for a 1000 years after loosing a bet with a kuniving angel was kinda original , and the cover look like it would be a film that would trie to be chiling . Well the cover is misleading completly , this is a horromedy , there not that many blood and gore it`s quite pg13 and I thought they would of aded some make-up to goldberg to make him look more demonish and creepy they dint . But even if I was kinda disapointed , I was also entertained , full load of good actors that gave a good performance , Hey any film with Fran Dresher getting her head on fire and getting drown in a puch boll is at least watchable and quite frankly pure candy. And even if Goldberg wasnt really demonly looking , is figure is fucking still imposing and quite frankly is acting was quite good , the way he chose to talk fit the role perfectly . Beeing that this was mainly a horror comedy caught me by suprise , since that wasnt what i was expecting , Ill watch it for sure around christmas time , there another viewing in it for sure after that maybe it will be up here
since i already knew what to expect ( more comedy then horror) well it pass the second viewing test and the holliday season test. This funny x-mas horror flick is actually quite entertaining and original . it has a good scored that can put you easily if the holliday mood , and some funny ass lines. Goldberg was a great pick to play Santa . If you are looking for a new horromedie for the hollidays , then trie this onne it has a chance to get into your dvd hollyday rotation
not a lot of features on the dvd , small making off and a bunch of trailers about it
