"Great acting, great story, great directing: a piece of art."

Johnny Cash was a unknown artist for me, my grandma liked him and more I did not know. But the trailer appealed to me and I hired the movie. And it is nothing I suspected at that time: funny, emotional, solid, balanced and impressive. Impressive on multiple levels.

The story is impressive, especially cause it's true. It sounds like a story we all heard a thousand times, like Elvis his story. But this time it is brought to you with an outstanding cast and a great director, making this better then any movie based on a music legend. Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon are the perfect couple and I even liked the tracks of Phoenix more then the original of Cash himself to be honest. Great deep voice, superb acting. Reese delivers one of the best female roles I've ever seen and together they are the best couple to be seen, lifting this movie from 'good' to 'classic'.

A must see, I could talk for hours how much I like the build-up of the story, the acting, the music...you name it; but I advice you just watch the movie.
