"...The best I've seen in a long while."

I read Watchmen for the 1st time a couple of years ago. It had some kind of weird magnetism that drew me in; I literaly sat on the couch and completed it in one sitting without ever moving.

I saw the movie last night and all I can say is that it was fantastic. I felt that same feeling as when I read the story the 1st time. Every frame of this film has so much attention to detail that I suspect, even on subsequent viewings, the freshness will remain.

The ending...

I stayed away from any spoilers, so I really knew nothing about Snyder's ending and how it differed from the ending in the book. All I can say is that it worked...and damn well I might add.

I highly encourage seeing this picture. This is what movie making is all about. Snyder knocked this son of a bitch out of the park.

Utterly fantastic in every way.
