Dear Finesse Mitchell,
You are not funny. I don't really understand the absurd series of events that allowed you to join the cast of Saturday Night Live, but it must have truly been a miracle. Your whole stand-up routine is based off your first year being on SNL and how you dealt with meeting celebrity guests like Halle Berry, Jennifer Aniston and Prince.
I've never heard a more generic routine - lets make fun of white people dancing, lets talk about how "crazy" it is to live in New York City, lets talk about your struggles growing up in Atlanta with a teen mother. Oh, how I wish this DVD contained an ounce of actual comedy, but I wish for a lot of things.
"Snap Famous" is just snap stupid. But hey, what do I know? If you liked any of Finesse's skits on SNL then you should give "Snap Famous" a look - it's really just more of the same, so what could it hurt?
There's actually a good amount of special features on this disc. Finesse provides bonus comedy skits, bloopers as well as an "On the Streets of New York with Finesse Mitchell" featurette.
This really isn't funny - and unless you're an obsessive fan of Finesse's performances on SNL, then you should probably just stay away.
