"Wow"
Primer has been out a while now, but I just had the pleasure of seeing it. I highly recommend checking this film out.
What we have here is a film about time travel.
I know what you're thinking, "these films are usually stupid and full of inconsistency and plot holes." Normally I would agree with you. Primer, however, handles the normal paradoxes and inherent issues that most writers have problems with in this genre, with amazing clarity, and logic.
On top of the skill with which this film was written, acted, directed and edited, its also worth mentioning that this film was made with only $7,000. Anyone who knows about film making knows how little that is and, like me, will be amazed at the quality of work on this film.
Primer is also only seventy seven minutes long, which makes it easy to re watch, and trust me, you're going to want to watch this film again. Each time I have seen it, I catch more, and find that things make more and more sense.
If you're a fan of this genre at all, then I implore you to find a copy of this film and treat yourself to a wonderful example of how films about time travel should be handled.
