""What's Scarecrow?""

Finally! Batman returns with valor and all of the stuff that he should've been the first time around! While Tim Burton successfully pulled off the first two, they still weren't as dark in tone and didn't feature the realism that this movie has!!!!

Telling the origin story is a brilliant idea for the resurrection of this franchise. It's never been told on celluloid before, and was only told once in the comics. It's about time it gets a silver screen nod. This was a worthy competitor of all the other superhero origin films that have appeared in the 21st Century. It may even be the best!

Introducing the concept of corrupt cops as Frank Miller did in his comic "Batman Year One" gives more legitimacy to the purpose/need for Batman in the first place, and Carmine Falconi personalizes this aspect perfectly!

And kudos to bringing in the Scarecrow as one of the villains rather than recycling an old one. It was a great performance by Cillian Murphy that I look forward to seeing in "The Dark Knight," no matter how small the role.

Considering that Liam Neeson had never played a villain before, he proves to be the best in the series so far. A more than worthy adversary!

And Michael Caine as Alfred, and Morgan Freeman as the reliable techy guy! Great casting!!!! And not to mention that Gary Oldman is the perfect Police Lieutenant Jim Gordon!

Christian Bale pulls off all of the different personalities of Bruce Wayne/Batman like no other in the role has before. He's the best since Michael Keaton! Even better! Fans will love his portrayal of the dark knight!

It's also less comic booky in a sense and has more realism than the originals, if you catch my drift. And that's what counts above all else.

A great flick that is so far the best of the Batman franchise!!!!
