THE WRESTLER (2008)

"Mickey Rourke- enough said!"

Mickey Rourke is well deserving of the praise received for his role in The Wrestler and should have won the Best Actor Oscar. Though the film isn't a masterpiece, it is good and there is a 'down to earth' homey feeling to it. The supporting cast did a nice job, but without Mickey Rourke, this film would have been a flop.

Wonderfully depressing movie. Rourke proved once again just how awesome he is.

my dad just netflixed this but tried (and failed) to cancel it before it arrived after hearing that it wasn't very good. I'll watch it tonight probably. good review.
