"Very Good Movie. Could have been better, but still enjoyable."

Beowulf was a very good film, but it did have some flaws. The acting was great, the story lived up to the real legend. Directing was supberd, all of Robert Zemeciks films have good directing, and visuals were top notch. The action could have been better though. I expected more hand to hand combat than just man vs. beast. That doesn't mean thought that the action wasn't good, in fact it was more intense than I expected. But a few man vs. man fights could have been nice to have. The story is fairly easy to follow, but if you hate storys where it has a lot to do with sex, this not the movie for you. Personally it doesn't bother me because I like it when the movie sticks true to book, poem, game etc. All and all, Beowulf was very good, but not great.
