"Way To Go Ben!"

I was in no big hurry to see this movie at the theater. I thought it was just some little project that Ben Affleck wanted to experiment with. I put it in to watch last night and couldn't look away. It grabs you from the start with the characters and the story picks right up. I hesitate to tell much of the plot because its better not to know much about it. I had not read anything about the story prior to watching it. I heard all the reviews about how good it was but not much otherwise. I should have paid more attention. Casey Affleck(not a fav of mine) gives an amazing performance as a private eye hired to help the police investigate the abduction of a little girl. They think that with his knowledge of the neighborhood they live in he can find out more than the police. The more he finds out, the more twists and turns come his way. Ed Harris gives another great performance as the lead detective on the case, along with his partner and Morgan Freeman. Its a story that makes you sad, angry and ask a lot of questions when its over. I really can't recommend it enough. Ben Affleck did an amazing job with this film, maybe he should stick to directing for a while.
