The Stupids (2004)

DVD

"It gives you a glimpse of how dangerous your life would be if you took everything literally and had your IQ lowerd like 100 points."

This movie was one of my favorites when I was little. Its cheesy, corny humor so if you're not in the mood don't watch it. The Stupids are a family of four who are (you guessed it) stupid. They have a dog named Kitty, and a cat named Doggy just for an example. When Stanley Stupid (Tom Arnold) gets fed up with someone "stealing" his garbage every week (the garbage man just doing his job) he decides to stake him out, once he sees whose stealing it he chases them down on rollerblades because his logic dictates 8 wheels are better than 4 wheels (his car). He comes up with a conspiracy theory and his family gets involved in stupid ways and actually stumbles upon a big arms dealer. It's a fun rent and brings back memories for me. I personally wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone unless they enjoy this kind of humor. If nothing else I recommend trying to youtube the scene in the movie when Tom Arnold ends up on an Oprah like show and sings a song about how he's actually his own grandpa. You have to hear the song to appreciate it.
