"A great movie presupposes a great story."

Captured in very dark and lovely sequences, this film takes on a serious issue in a very artfully seductive way. Not giving you the whole story it only offers pieces to a puzzle. Set in London, the film puts a local midwife into a potentially dangerous situation with Russian mafia as she herself is trying to piece together a puzzle about a child she delivered to a young Russian prostitute who didn't make it. What unfolds is a very exclusive look into the dark secrecy of Russian mafias operating in different soil. The actors understated performances were absolutely perfect and Viggo Mortensen is awesome! Very real and authentic portrayals of the people involved in this very sad and hidden form of human trafficking.

It's great to read a well constructed review. Many seem to just bag it or rave then move on. Nice revew, someone I can continue to check for reviews before "gambling"on a movie I haven't seen.
