Screen Gems has issued new 2016 release dates for Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and When the Bough Breaks. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies will hit theaters on February 19, 2016, going up against the EuropaCorp thriller Shut In. When the Bough Breaks will hit theaters on September 16, 2016, which is currently the only movie set for release on that date, but it comes just one week before Warner Bros.' The Lego Movie spinoff Ninjago on September 23, 2016.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is based on Seth Grahame-Smith's novel of the same name. The story takes the characters from Jane Austen's literary classic Pride and Prejudice and puts them up against a zombie infestation in 19th Century England. Burr Steers directed the adaptation, which stars Lily James, Sam Riley, Bella Heathcote, Jack Huston, Douglas Booth, Emma Greenwell, Matt Smith, Lena Headey and Charles Dance.

When the Bough Breaks centers on a surrogate mother who harbors a deadly secret desire for a family of her own with the husband who is expecting to raise her child. Jon Cassar (I Trust You to Kill Me) directs the thriller from a screenplay by Jack Olsen (Sleepwalker). The cast includes Theo Rossi, Regina Hall, Morris Chestnut, Christina Bach, Jaz Sinclair, GiGi Erneta and Michelle DeVito.
