Subverting the good old fashion method of going through producers and agents to get a deal done in Hollywood, producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg jumped on Twitter to go after the Preacher director they want aboard their AMC drama series, an adaptation of the popular comic book from writer Garth Ennis and artist Steven Dillon.

Seth Rogen began the conversation by asking Warcraft director Duncan Jones, the man behind sci-fi cult classics Moon and Source Code, if he would come onto direct one of the upcoming Preacher episodes, even though the pilot script is not finished yet.

As you can see in the following Twitter conversation, Duncan Jones agrees before Rian Johnson, director of the forthcoming Star Wars: Episode VIII and Star Wars: Episode IX, throws his hat in the ring to direct an episode as well.

It is not known if an actual deal will take place. Duncan Jones is currently in post-production on Warcraft, which won't be in theaters until 2016. And its unclear how much free time Rian Johnson may have as he dives into creating the final two Star Wars movies in the new trilogy.
