I just read @bawnian-dexeus more on that artist that you posted the Apple design, with Jobs' face. From THR "19-year-old Jonathan Mak Long created a black and white homage to Jobs in the form of an Apple logo, featuring the former CEO's face in place of the bite mark. The design was initially created in August, following Jobs' surprising departure from the company he helped build, but sparked a frenzy on the web after his death.
"I wanted to commemorate him. He's such an integral part of Apple. I thought it would be fitting to include him in the Apple logo," Long told Yahoo! via Skype. "With Jobs gone, Apple is literally missing a piece."
@Georgia-DiPirro: Man I never thought about how beneficial it is that Skype's free of charge till you just made that analogy. And I find it interesting that Apple always had a bite taken outta the logo, but now, they may seriously consider adapting Mak's for future products. He'd make just as much if not more than Merv Griffin when he wrote the "Jeopardy!" countdown music.
You think Pike and Sykes haven't been watchin' us. They know what this is all about - and what do I have? Nothin' but you egg-suckin', chicken stealing gutter trash with not even sixty rounds between you. We're after men - and I wish to God I was with 'em
@slysnide Amazing how a logo meant for a Tribute to only his work, without warning of Jobs passing, could change the artists life, and the symbolic meaning behind the "bite on the apple"
There exist four rulers in this world: Gods, Humans, Vampires and Werewolves. The Question is, who do you think is above the food chain?
@bawnian-dexeus: Yeah we gotta get to work on something like that. QUICK! What logo or emblem would you associate with George Lucas? FASTER! He's 67 and can croak at any time! :P

@bawnian-dexeus: That first one is excellent, so make it quick and one day you could be rolling in dough.

Back in december 2007 I bought my first Apple product in the iPod Classic. I immediately thought "this is the best gift I have ever bought".
A year and a half later, when my cellular contract was about to expire and I was hunting for a new cel, I decided to give the iPhone a chance, despite not having a good first impression of it (when the first iPhone was released it was bombarded with viruses, remember?) and that with the iPod I already had a much bigger portable music library.
My reaction was the same as the iPod's.
One or two months later, when my PC's constant troubles pushed past the limits of my patience, I decided to jump ship and buy an iMac, giving Apple a new chance. Suffice to say I'll never go back to PC.
To me, Apple is synonimous with great quality and dedication in their products, as well as practicality and elegance. An Apple product is not just a product made to be sold in an impersonal way; you can see the thoughtfulness and pride of the brand even with the storage boxes. And all of this is thanks to Steve Jobs.
I'm not an Apple fanboy, but I'm a grateful customer. I'm also grateful of how the company's success forced other technology companies to react and get us out of the hole Microsoft's monopoly had dug everyone into. Now Google/Android and even Microsoft are forced to release quality products to keep up with Apple. In this way, Droid fanboys also owe their existance to Uncle Steve.
Evene though I never met him in person his death struck an emotional chord with me (and I'm not someone easily moved), but I can recognize when someone really important and deserving of everyone's respect has gone to never come back.
"10 years ago we had Steve Jobs, Bob Hope, and Johnny Cash. Now we have no Jobs, no Hope, and no Cash" Saw that on Facebook and thought it was appropriate lol.
I never owned a single Apple item, not because of some stupid grudge but because I just never saw the value. But there's no doubt in my mind that Steve Jobs will come to be the most influential inventor of our generation.
@slysnide is right @bawnian-dexeus that first one is an excellent Idea! You should work on Lucas's shadow Thank you @ghostman, the pics are beautiful and brought a smile.
Wow, very touching @aoshi ... I agree with what you wrote as well, "Even though I never met him in person his death struck an emotional chord with me" very nice.
LOL @ChiRep-1 that felt good! I needed that laugh, very appropriate!
"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life...Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become" -Steve Jobs

Godspeed, Steve!
Just remember on a rainy day, there comes a rainbow
And even though you may not think it, someone is always smiling down at you from above
