As you guys all know my job is a budding free-lance film journalist, at the height of the 55TH LONDON BFI FILM FESTIVAL, at a special advance screening of Contaigon, I snagged the oppourtunity to interview, the ever so down to earth, humble and amensiac, Matt Damon.
And well here are the highlights of he discussed interview which he revealed the following details.
Also some more nice info @Gallagher
Matt Damon is hoping to set to return as Bourne, its confirmed that while the next installment won't feature him, it leaves the franchise open for everyone's beloved amensiac assassin. (YES! FINALLY!)
On Elysium "The character i portray in Elysium is very different from any character I've played or read. That's my drive and passion for this role, its completely different from anything I've done and other than that I'm a fan of District 9 and Neil, I loved the concept of it as well Elysium, I love the freedom that Neil gives us. He doesn't demand it, he just expects you to know your character and the environment and play that character to the best of your ability with no limitation. Which is something i strongly believe in, if you don't explore your abilities you don't know or acknowledge, accept or appreciate the flaws in your strengths and weaknesses and know what you can and can't do. But I don't believe in limits.
Also Matt added on some pretty sweet details of some new and upcoming projects with his co collaborating writer of Good Will Hunting, which is Ben Affleck, in which despite that Matt teases Ben about Daredevil, the dynamic duo are set to re-collaborate for a couple of projects currently in development at Warner, including Matt Damon getting behind the camera himself for his directional debut. Here are a few scarce details he revealed
Damon & Affleck have several co-collaborational projects in the pipeline at Warner.
One will be directed by and star Affleck and Another will be the directional debut of Damon and star both Casey and Ben Affleck
@jayaottley What a great opportunity ... nice journalistic job getting the up-coming projects and Matt's thoughts. The Bourne franchise is dear to my heart and Matt Damon is Extremely talented and modestly sexy. Thank you so much for sharing - Good read! I think I'm a little Jealous
Tyler Durden: You're not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your fucking khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.
