Producer Paul Maslansky is taking on a reworked version of one of Bruce Lee's last projects. Variety is reporting that Malansky will be producing The Silent Flute, a project based off a treatment that martial arts legend Bruce Lee wrote before his death.

Maslansky had previously produced a film version of the treatment, the 1978 film Circle of Iron, but now Maslansky's son, Sasha Maslansky is writing a brand new script off of Lee's treatment.

"The Silent Flute will be an epic martial arts adventure film that promises to honor Bruce Lee's original artistic integrity," Paul Maslansky said. "It also promises to reach new levels of action and adventure never before seen in martial arts filmmaking."

Maslansky has secured funding for the project through Bey Logan's B&E Productions, based in Hong Kong.
