‘Oz: The Great and Powerful’ ’The Good, The Bad, The Wicked’ TV Spot

Take a look at the sisters Theodora, Evanora, and Glinda, portrayed by Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz and Michelle Williams in Sam Raimi’s adventure.

Walt Disney Pictures has unveiled a revealing first TV spot for Oz: The Great and Powerful, director Sam Raimi's new adventure that explores what happened before L. Frank Baum's timeless tale, The Wizard of Oz. Before becoming the man behind the curtain, Oscar Diggs (James Franco) is a small-time circus magician who finds himself in the land of Oz, where he meets the witches Evanora (Rachel Weisz), Theordora (Rachel Weisz), and Glinda (Michelle Williams). While this video sheds more light on the sisters, the ultimate question still remains: Who is the Wicked Witch?

Oz: The Great and Powerful was released March 8th, 2013 and stars James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams, Zach Braff, Bill Cobbs, Joey King, Tony Cox. The film is directed by Sam Raimi.

@themoviefanatic I know I meant this and the sequel to this movie could possibly lead into WOZ. it would be a 3 movie trilogy if they do a sequel to this one.

@superman81 Oz: The Great and Powerful is a prequel to The 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz.

@2movieguys I feel the same way about it. The marketing can get very annoying, especially if its a movie we're anticipating to see.

I feel that Kunis should not be the WW of the west if that be the case. Weisz is a much better actor and her talent should be left for a sequel to this movie. I dont know if they will remake the Wizard of Oz but maybe they could just make a sequel to this movie which would end up being a prequel to WOZ depending on how this turns out.
