The story follows Oscar Diggs, a Kansas circus magician who is transported to the mystical land of Oz, where he tries to make everyone believe he is the powerful wizard they have all been waiting for.     I'm sorry, but as soon as Robert Downey Junior left the project, I completely lost interest. The fact that they got Franco, who is nothing like Downey, just shows they're just trying to get a big name attached to a recognizable property, good filmmaking and storytelling pushed aside. Why don't they make an adaptation of "Wicked?" That would make a whole lot more sense!
