    @basquat I am leaning toward your opinion on this one. I would like to be wrong because as @renodc mentioned when De Palma hits, he hits it out of the park. But when he misses...well, you know.

    @skywise And this one screams no soul. It looks to be the Classic DePalma style but one of those without the Heart. Infact after seeing the trailer i fear it's gonna be so bad it's laughable.

    @skywise DePalma has always been a head-scratcher to me. He'll do 4-6 films that, like you said, look great but have zero heart or depth, and then all of sudden he'll put out something superb (Scarface, Dressed to Kill, The Untouchables, Carrie, Carlito's Way, etc.)

    Brian De Palma is no doubt a visually stunning director but I often find his films lack a certain sense of heart or soul if you will.

    I am definitely interested to see what he has in store however.
