Zombieland 2 is going 3D
"We want to stick with our dysfunctional family," revealed Paul Wernick, who created the post-apocalyptic zombie world (now on DVD!) with writing partner Rhett Reese. "But also introduce new characters."
"There absolutely will be a sequel, and it will absolutely be in 3D," Reese revealed. "Now, it's just a question of what that sequel will be. It's not a question of having enough ideas, but almost having too many ideas. We have a lot of ideas!"
"We entirely want to write with 3D in mind," Wernick added, shooting down the majority of filmmakers who these days claim to concentrate on the story first and the three-dimensional stuff later. "We have the vision, and want to have fun with the technology."

The writers also spoke about the possibility of giving a romantic interest to Woody Harrelson's character, Tallahassee.
"There will be continuing romantic adventures," he said. "We haven't decided on this, but it would be nice to have a love interest for Tallahassee."

Bring it on indeed! Great characters.... would love to see them in another double-tapped zombie gore fest! Although I wish Bill Murray had survived for a 2nd film ;)

AVATARSEQUEL: I partly agree but the movie should be written with the full intention of designing it to work in a 3D environment, not "Oh hey, lets layer out the movie in two days in 3D."
Couldn't care less about the 3D myself but BRING ON THE SEQUEL!

I just hope they remember that the 1st one was great because it didn't take itself seriously, but it was smart at the same time, a winning combo. And of course, plenty of gory zombie killing.

Tallahassee's love interest should be a bad ass survivor chick, with a partner (or maybe a son) who can serve as a thrid person to Columbus and Wichita's relationship, a little love triangle turmoil in all this sounds fun.
OR if it's maybe the bad ass chicks son, he could be young enough to be Little Rock's love interest maybe?
