Zoey 101 Not Yet Impacted by Jamie Lynn Spears' Pregnancy

Despite the fact that its sixteen year old star Jamie Lynn Spears has gotten pregnant, Nickelodeon isn't changing anything about its popular series Zoey 101. According to Variety, the cable channel will continue to air the program as planned.

The show will continue to be broadcast in its usual Sunday night timeslot. And new episodes will run into the New Year. Shooting on the current season of Zoey 101 wrapped in August, so Spears pregnancy will not conflict with the series current storyline.

Whether the show will be back next year is yet to be seen. Nickelodeon sent out a statement saying, "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."
