Zoe Green to Write The Diamond Age
The show will be based on Neal Stephenson's novel "The Diamond Age: Or a Young Lady's Illustrated Primer."
Clooney and Grant Heslov will be produce via their Smokehouse Pictures production company.
Diamond Age looks at a futuristic society where one man feels there is no more creativity. He then creates an interactive book that his daughter can use. She takes the book and unlocks a parallel world.
Stephenson's novel was originally published in 1995 and it went on to win the Hugo Award for novel in 1996.

That plot is wrong. The plot has nothing to do with a parallel world. I've read this book, and it does have potential to be a good mini-series. But the plot described is wrong.
