Zodiac: 2-Disc Director's Cut Slated for 2008

You may want to hold off picking up the DVD release of David Fincher's Zodiac this month...

In a story from DavisDVD, it looks like plans are afoot for Paramount Home Entertainment to bring out a Zodiac: 2-Disc Director's Cut in 2008.

The version of Zodiac being released on July 24 contains no extra features. The Zodiac: 2-Disc Director's Cut will offer users:

- Commentary Track with Director David Fincher, actors Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Downey, Jr., Screenwriter James Vanderbilt, Producer Brad Fischer and crime writer James Ellroy

- Behind-the-Scenes featurettes that will take viewers inside every aspect of this production

- Detailed looks at the crimes the Zodiac Killer committed as well as interviews with real life investigators and survivors

As this release is a ways away there is currently no other information on it but once we have more you will as well.

Zodiac was released March 2nd, 2007 and stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Ruffalo, Anthony Edwards, Robert Downey Jr., Brian Cox, John Carroll Lynch, Richmond Arquette, Bob Stephenson. The film is directed by David Fincher.
