That statement, which ran on several movie websites, brought into question whether or not Quinto would be reprising his role as Spock in Star Trek 2. Due to confusion, Quinto cleared up the matter on his blog today.
i have been inundated with questions and confusion about a comment i made during an interview with wired - about the new atari Star Trek online game - in which i said i am stepping away from Trek for the next two years. obviously i will be a part of any upcoming films... reprising my role as spock. what i meant was that in the meantime i won't be making any public appearances related to the franchise - or doing any more auxiliary projects pertaining to the trek universe. i will be focusing my efforts on other projects and preparing to shoot the next film - which will be released in june of 2012... two years from now. hence the no Trek for two years remark. worry not trekkers. it was a misunderstanding of context. i am not spock. but i am spock. all at the same time.

Haha gotta love Quinto. He's not Spock to me, he's motherf*ckin' Sylar. Always will be. He's cooler as Sylar anyway.

"Misunderstanding of context"... as it always is. XP I'm glad he cleared things up. The new ST wouldn't be the same without him or Chris Pine.

OK, so he cleared up the 2-year confusion. But now, new confusion, "i am not spock. but i am spock."... so is he or isn't he... LOL! A very in-character comment from Zachary as his excellent portrayal of Spock in the Star Trek movie showed similar conflict between his human side and vulcan side.

Dude! 56% of the comments had the word 'dude' in them.
This is irrefutable evidence that a majority of users are either a) subconscious, wannabe surfer-dudes with bombastic style, b) rising reggae stars with the tendency to Pidgeon-it-up; e.g "ya, mon" and "howsit crackin' brah", or c) flawed losers, who think using the word 'dude' promotes their failed status of cool.
I'm definitely 'a'. Although, maybe I should try to get on a surfboard first... ;P

Of course that's what he meant. He'd have to be crazy to pass up on the Star Trek franchise. What else does he have to fall back on? Heroes? Lawl, dude. Lawl.
