Your First Look at the Day of the Dead Remake Trailer

We have acquired the teaser trailer for the upcoming remake of George Romero's classic zombie apocalypse, Day of the Dead, starring Ving Rhames and Mena Suvari.

When the world is overrun by the flesh hungry dead a small group of survivors head to an underground military bunk in a last ditch effort to stay alive. Click below to watch the teaser trailer!



Day of the Dead was released April 8th, 2008 and stars Mena Suvari, Nick Cannon, Michael Welch, AnnaLynne McCord, Stark Sands, Matt Rippy, Pat Kilbane, Taylor Hoover. The film is directed by Steve Miner.

    This is the worst piece of crap i think they have come up with to date ,and I have seen Terror Toons so that is saying allot. I am sick and tired of these crappy Romero remakes that have nothing to do with what the man has built a carrier on. Romero Defined for us what a Walking dead movie should be and Hollywood has tried to emulate it the best they could over the past few years and failed miserably. If anyone sees these crap the are enabling idiots to make movies and that is a sad state of affairs.

    I think I just threw up a little in my mouth watching this garbage. It seems as if the plot to this movie doesn't even remotely mirror the original. I went to IMDB and looked at the credits. Bub isn't even in the goddam movie! Neither is John the Jamaican! I am severely disappointed.

    I'm not a fanboy and I'm all for remakes as long as it is taken seriously. I personally thought Dawn of the dead was by far better than the original but this one seems like they went for the teen/action movie to try to squeeze some extra money from the 17 and under. I'll still give it a chance because I'm sure theres still plenty of time for the movie to come out good or at least decent

    I hear tell that one of the zombies is a Vegetarian Zombie. The Bud character. He was a veg. as a human so he becomes one as a zombie.
    That alone, regardless of how incredibly awful the trailer is (in my worst nightmare I would have never imagined Nick Cannon spouting out some craptastic line like "its a bad day to be a zombie") is enough to make blood shoot out of my ears and eyes. Please, God, make it stop.

    Looks like one of those $500 budget SCI-FI Channel pieces of crap! How do they even feel like they can get away with calling it a remake of Day of the Dead? I doesn't even appear to remotely follow the original; actually, it doesn't even look like the writer and director saw the movie!

    What the f*ck is this? Does anyone but me think that this movie seems f*cking stupid. Don't get me wrong I love zombie movie's but this looks like it's butchering a f*cking classic. Is it supose to be before dawn or at the same time or something completely different? And who the f*ck cast Nick Cannon? Not someone I would think of for a horror movie. Maybe if it was for Nick Jr or something. Even though the gore seems to be good I'm pissed at the direction they took with this movie just like I was pissed about the Dawn remake. Leave the classics alone and come up with your own ideas instead of making remakes. If it ain't broken don't fix it!!!!!!!

    I think its a bit stupid having ving rhames in this movie aswell as being in the Dawn of the Dead remake. As from what i gather this movie has nothing to do with the dawn remake. Although they are most remakes of Romeros films.Its only gonna confuse people. IMO
