I've been away for 3 months and look at the sh*t storm aftermath. Seriously, you guys have to have no lives to be getting so butt hurt over your horrible taste in film.
To the haters out there, your favorite *sshole is back taking a break from "real life"; and although I'd love to start a romping rant on how the standards of English movie goers visiting this website, seem not only to have a stick up their ass, but in addition, have the most meticulous, sub suit-oed plot lined ideas; which resembles some what of a proto-concept for a film, their still sh*t, just like the first AVP.
Unfortunately, I too am stuck up sh*ts creak without a paddle with the rest of you sorry bastards as the movie theater already has my $11. Besides, it seems like I've been harboring this cautious optimism forever for this film; lets just hope it doesn't disappoint like the c*cksucker claims.

ok... i can say that i didnt know what to expect of this movie... but i did see the first one, and it was kinda good. this one, however, sucked. There was no plot, and there was no real substance to the story. If you like the stereotypical horror movie... then you will love this movie. It is so predictable. So, in my opinion it sucked... however, you may love it.

Hey Blade, don't let FingerTwat get to you like that. The best way to deal with people like him is to ignore him, cut him out of the conversation. When you watch AVP2, I'm sure you'll enjoy it, and your spat with FingerTwat will just be a distant memory.
I liked the first film. Not quite up to my(admittedly high) expectations, but still entertaining. I'm sure the introduction of the Pred Alien will give the direction of these movies a new twist.

My favorite movie of all time is Predator 2. I have also seen Predator, AVP and all of the Aliens sequels! I cannot wait for AVP 2! They are all good action movies in their own right! Due to some of the comments I have seen here, you're more concerned about attacking someone personally for their comments! Racists comments about the actors nor about the members here have nothing to do with the "movie(s)". As for stopping to use females as hereos; anyone can be a hero using the right set of circ*mstances! Anyone can pull a trigger even a child! Anyone can be evil even a child! Well not only are you a cadaverous Brit, but you also have a sh*tty taste in movies 'Blade UK'. To set the record straight, if you're from the UK and black, than you're really a white man who happens to be black (it's deep, think about it).
But as I digress; anybody on this form would agree that
"Arnold is Action", while D Glover is nobody short of Mel Gibson's heterosexual bitch life partner for over decade; not to mention the only reason Glover got the role was because Arnold said no to the tragic Predator sequel.
It just goes to show, Danny Glover can't even hold the screen for a full length feature either. And yes, Arnold would kick the sh*t out of your boy D Glover on and off screen any given day.
Predictable movies? You must have sh*t for brains UK, did you really think Danny Glover was really going to die in the sequel? I suppose you've also been waiting for a black-exploitation of AvP too.
Radical concept 'Blade UK' kind of like your radical concept of how Predator 2 was a good movie huh.
Here's another concept for you UK; Bishop died in Antarctica guy, not some cyborg/clone or they would have explained your irrational c*ckamamie theory in one of the movies. Moreover, nobody knew about the Alien's until the sequel to Alien (Aliens) was made when Paul Riser was involved (just watch the movie). Nobody knew about the Aliens until Ripley's crew landed on the planet in the first Alien which was later revisited in the sequel.
Blade UK, you seem to be fathoming ludicrous plots in your head like it was scripted in these movies.
Although the only interested point you do bring up is something I am sure every Alien fan would like to know more about: What happened to the original crew that discovered by the 'Nostromo' in Alien?
As far as to what happened to the original queen who laid the eggs for the 'Nostromo' crew to find; the queen was in Aliens. The director must have came up with something as simple as: she was dormant or in some sort of hibernation (much like in AvP) in the original Alien. Not to mention, i doubt the director, writers, and screenwriters thought of introduction a "queen alien" when they had originally worked on the movie Alien in 1979. The concept was most likely not brought to life up until the 1986 sequel Aliens.
Is my mind fired? Hardly, although I'm sure I just f*cked yours silly.

They need to stop using females as heroes. It is ruining the masculinity of the movies that are originally intended for guys to watch. No female is really going to care about a movie like this, so why with the female bad asses. Attractive 120lbs females just don't seem right as warriors. What happened to the kind of cast from the first predator? That was a true mans movie. I suppose the directors think they can capture more viewers with having female heroes these days. Where the f*ck did it all go wrong? Oh yeah, that's right, Alien 3 and Predator 2. As if these sequels weren't botched enough, one of the worst director's in the history of Hollywood, Paul W.S. Anderson, had to f*ck these two classic icons into further submission with his Traves-Sham-Mockery of a movie, AVP. He literally took a fat sh*t on a screenplay, handed it to a group of mildly retarded producers, and 9 months later the abortion known as AVP was brought to life like Dr. Frankenstein's monster, a true travesty in the history of Hollywood to say the least.
Where do I start, the steroided out Predators that looked like Barry Bonds, or the unnecessary tag team that took place between the Predator and the Ripley wannabe(let's not even get into how ludicrous the notion of one alien killing 2 predators was). Besides, doesn't the Predator commit nuclear suicide when he knows he's about to die (as his own last resort) and not team up with with its prey?
Any fan of both series can testify that the "Alien" specie wasn't even discovered until sometime in the future when the first Alien movie was based, which was in deep space. So why the f*ck are Aliens showing up in modern times in both AVP and AVP2? Why not at least mix it up and hold this movie in the future? Maybe in between any of the Alien movies?
And before our overly hyperbolic Scientologist friend, noignorance84, gets his XXXL panties in a bundle about this opinion, I think it would be safe to say that unless there is irrefutable evidence of such events of alien life forms developing the human race into what we are today, along with your Disneyland pyramid theories, it should be safe to say you might just be a tad insane. But who wouldn't be, blogging on about the significance of this movie to the human civilization, along with your solicitation of the unrated "who give a f*ck" version of AVP. What ever happened to just being entertained?
All I ask is that we not be entertained by a bad movie and moreover, an even worst director, like the illustrious f*ck up, Paul W.S. Anderson. I think it's easy to say that if they had Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sigourney Weaver and/or Michael Biehn in the mix, this movie would have been nothing short of epic.

And one more thing. For all of you people that say the 1st AVP movie wasn't gory enough and didn't have enough human blood, I agree with you when it comes to the pg-13 rated version BUT there is an un-rated version out, that I bought and now own, that does the movie justice and has ALOT more blood in it than the dumb-downed version does! They even went so far as to change Lance Henrickson's death scene by adding a nasty hole in his back and showing the Predator pull his rist-blades out from inside his guts with a real nice and nasty gurggleing sound and even added blood flowing out of his mouth when you see him dead on the floor! They also added WAYYY MORE blood where ever they had a chance to when ever a human would get killed by a Predator or Alien. So I highly recommend that people go out and buy the un-rated version of the film cause it's by far better! Also in that pic. from AVP2 I really hope that it's not a real scene from the movie cause I really don't care for the Predator 2 modeled mask or the fact that his shoulder-burner is tiny and weak looking and is also on the wrong side! I also don't like the James Cameron look of the Alien with all of those hinges going down the Alien's head! If the alien gestated inside of a human, then it should look the same every time, so what gives? Now I'm NOT saying that I didn't love Aliens or Predator 2 cause I did! Predator 2 was an awesome movie, Danny Glover (The Glove) kicked ass, and I loved it! And the James Cameron sequel to Alien was probably the best Alien movie yet! I just like the ORIGINAL designs of the Predator and the Alien WAYYY better than the mask and face from Predator 2 and the heads of the Aliens from the second Alien movie that's all...

To ALL of you dumbasses who are saying that the 1st AVP movie was a let down and that it didn't stay true to the AVP franchise need to seriously do ALOT more RESEARCH and READING before you all go spouting off at your IGNORANT, egocentric mouths!!! Remember fools that in the AVP comic, one of the 1st AVP comics, that the Predator DOES team up with a human woman to survive battleing the rest of the aliens. The storyline needed to be altered and changed alittle because of Paul Anderson's wanting to set the plotline inside of an ancient Pyramid in Antartica based off of the Ancient Astronaut science/research that some Archeologists and Scholars DO follow and believe in! Being such a Researcher myself and believeing, no, knowing that the Ancient Astronaut theory is absolutely CORRECT and TRUE, I LOVED the story/plot of the first AVP! It was clever, smart, and had a VERY sturdy basis in TRUTH and History and communicated beautifully the research of brilliant people like Eric Von Daniken, Zecheria Sitchin, David Icke, William Bramley, Alan Walton, and many more people who propose that E.T.s built human civilization and ALL of the world's Pyramids and genetically modified Homoerectus into the form of human that "we" humans are today, so, like I said, before you all go pissing and moaning, READ FIRST and do the research! Plus, the Predators in the 1st AVP movie were adolecents (teens), includeing the main one in the end. So I don't see the fairness in creating a fight match between an alien queen against one adolecent (teen) predator without haveing someone else battleing with the Predator to balance the fight out and make it FAIR. Plus, the Predator teen still pretty much kicked the queens ass by itself anyway which shows just how much more badass Predators are than Aliens, besides, if it would have bben fair and a grown-up Predator would have fought, all it would've had to do was cut off the queen's tail with one of it's shard weapons and the fight would pretty much be over cause all the queen does is use her tail all the time to impale things/people and without it the predator could take her out EASYILY 1000 different ways! And to you ridiculous people that say the Predators should've used their advanced tech. to "blow up" or nuke the Aliens, that would kind of defeat the purpose of A HUNT and HONOR would'nt it! DUH! How stupid can you sheeple be? NONE of you who've said any of these ridiculous comments and ideas are REAL AVP, Predator, or Alien fans at all and seriously need to SHUT YOUR IGNORANT MOUTHS because you just embarass yourselves!

Demonicus i do know the storyline for predator and alien but i do understand how you came to the conclusion i don't because before i posted " Hey! join me in a hunt for mankind" i admit mankind might have been the wrong word to use i should have said "Hey! join me in a hunt" but come on the predator is all about honor even if its very life is in danger it would do the most honorable thing. So Demonicus do you actualy know the predator as much as you know about the storyline? "If, however, there is more than just personal honor at stake, they would have no problem accepting any help" - you are saying that the predator would dishonor its self to help save this woman and its self im sorry but i dnt think so the predator is all about honor it would rather die in honor than live in disgrace but that is my thought people might or might not disgree but Demonicus you have to admit as a fan of AVP the very first movie with both alien and predator in it was a let down.
