Alan Cumming and Rebecca Romijn, who previously appeared together in X2: X-Men United, will star in Hatter, written and directed by James Killough, about a hedonistic fashion designer and a journalist who knows the secret of his shady past.

According to Variety, the movie is scheduled to shoot next spring in Eastern Europe. Cumming is co-producing.

The project is a described as a riff on the Mad Hatter's Tea Party scene from "Alice in Wonderland." It's Killough's debut as a feature director after his short Losing Her.
