Learn who Wolverine will be meeting in Japan in X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2

The movie starts off with Logan (Hugh Jackman) back in his home country of Canada where he gets in a spot of trouble and finds himself in jail. He's bailed out by a mysterious Japanese man named Zen, who asks that Logan accompanies him to Tokyo. Zen says he will answer any of Logan's questions about his origin, if he makes the trip.
We also learn of a character named Shingen, whose late father was Master of the Hand. Shingen's father killed himself, refusing to let Shingen take over as Master with the hope that the Hand members would choose Logan as their new master. Kenuichio is the illegitimate son of Shingen who is also an adept Samurai warrior, although Shingen doesn't acknowledge Kenuichio as his son.
There also seems to be a bit of a love triangle here between Logan, Mariko, Shingen's daughter, and Yukio, Logan's bodyguard. There is also a corrupt Minister of Justice in Noburo Moro, who Shingen has arranged to marry Mariko, and even a character named Frank Sinatra, who provides Logan with information.

The Wolverine comes to theaters July 26th, 2013 and stars Hugh Jackman. The film is directed by James Mangold.

As far as we know this could be false information to throw us off track. The only beef I had with the first film was the acting, special effects, and the big cast. I'll reserve my judgment until after I see the film.

@bruce, this was the planned sequel all along, because fans wanted this story told in the first spin off. And do not call that '"Weapon X" crap fest Deadpool. It wasn't.

By the way, I'm not all that impressed with the storyline of this one. I know it follows the "mythology" of wolverines backstory, but what the f*ck? Are we even going to see any other mutants in this one or is it really going to be a "samurai" drama like it sounds?
They better put some serious mutant confrontations against wolverine and the samurai otherwise this is wont even feel like an "X-Men" spinoff.

@Bawn - Yeah, the claws were absolutely terrible in the first one. But then again, the majority of the time in the actual X-Men movies, Hugh had real metal claws "glued" on his knuckles, so its no wonder those sh*tty cg claws looked so terrible in comparison. But still, they can do special effects versions a thousand times better than that crap they had in the first one.

The Mime agrees with @BAWN..... we all do. The FX in the last wolverine version was excellent, if it was released in the 90's. Come on, with the techs of these days, they could have made it better but.....The Mime don't know, just hopes they make this one better. Even the graphics in the last X-Men movies were better. tsk tsk tsk

This sounds like utter crap! What happened to the "Deadpool still alive" theme they had going there for a while? I mean the scene after the credits pretty much told us that there would be a round two, and now he's flying to Tokyo and the movie is about a love triangle? WTF?!
