X-Men: First Class Trailer!

It's finally here! 20th Century Fox has released the first teaser trailer for this summer's highly anticipated Marvel Mutant prequel X-Men: First Class. Directed by Matthew Vaughn, this classic story charts the epic beginning of the X-Men. To get your first look at Michael Fassbender as Magneto and James McAvoy as Professor X in action, click on the clip below:

X-Men: First Class was released June 3rd, 2011 and stars James McAvoy, Laurence Belcher, Michael Fassbender, Bill Milner, Kevin Bacon, Rose Byrne, Jennifer Lawrence, Beth Goddard. The film is directed by Matthew Vaughn.

    Josh, not the 80s, 90s era comics, I agree it falls more in line with his look in the past 10 to 15 years...I guess it was the face make-up that really through me off, some other shots look pretty good.

    The beat is sick. Moira! White Queen! Blackbird X-Jet! Xavier as an X-Man! Cerebro origins! Well, even though this is not the real First Class, except for Beast, I guess they had to make it to fit the film universe since everyone else from the First Class had already been used, and Beast hinted being an X-Man before in X3. Although, Xavier did mention in X1 that Jean and Cyclops were two of his first students... they both at least shoulda been in First Class to fit the continuity. Either way, it'll be interesting to see how they do the real X-Men Origins here for the films.

    Agreed, @dan1. Exactly why Origins was referred to as "Wolverine 4"... thankfully we won't have that problem with "The Wolverine" because it'll technically be his first outing (his real first outing). :)

    For me, the X-Men were always a bunch of characters I didn't really care about but tolerated just so for all the scenes with Wolverine. But even without Wolverine this movie looks cool. It reminds me of a Saturday morning cartoon show, but in a good way.
