X-Men: First Class Character Trailers with Banshee, Beast, and Havok!

20th Century Fox has released three character trailers for X-Men: First Class, each of which shine a spotlight on one of the many mutant students of Professor Charles Xavier (James McAvoy). First up is Caleb Landry Jones who stars as Banshee (aka Sean Cassidy), a young man capable of producing a sonic scream that he can wield as a weapon. Second is Lucas Till as Havok (aka Alex Summers), who can generate plasma blasts capable of mass destruction. Last, we have Nicholas Hoult as Beast (aka Hank McCoy), a super smart young scientist capable of transforming into an unsightly blue powerhouse. Check them all out below.




X-Men: First Class was released June 3rd, 2011 and stars James McAvoy, Laurence Belcher, Michael Fassbender, Bill Milner, Kevin Bacon, Rose Byrne, Jennifer Lawrence, Beth Goddard. The film is directed by Matthew Vaughn.

    well...to be honest, i am sort of at that point really and this is my last hope. I really want to love this but something tells me i will only like it...if that makes sense.

    @blueborg17 na thats part of the drama, they want you to see that side but the surprise will be when she turns to the "dark side" (not much of a surpsie) but the preg test will reveal the true father of Nightcrawler. It has to be this way. There are a lot of things i can deal with in the continuity error chain but if what you say is what comes to pass it will really make me think twice about any X Men franchise under FOX's banner.

    well @Brizzy and @skywise the trailers are showing that beast as going to F*ck Mystique. Post credit scene is Mystique With a preganacy test and it's postive after her one night stand with Beast

    @blueborg17 That i dont mind so much but since we know that Mystique crosses over to the other side with Mags....its actually Azazel and Mystique who are the parents of Nightcrawler. Just saying but whatever, i am over the continuity issues as @jptheredskull pointed out, its pointless to dwell.

    @jptheredskull Are you serious? Now i know its their own timeline...as you said its is its own universe but come one that is rediculous. They are brothers. Oh Sheesh. I want to love this movie but things like that make me a little irritated. The X Men are my fav so i am pretty critical and i am sure i will like the move once i get passed the...well i wont even say it again but there are some things you just cant change.

    @skywise Yeah. People need to get pass the continuity errors. These CBMs are their own universes so its perfectly okay for them to change the continuity.

    It really seems to capture the heart and soul of the X Men mythos and for that i am able to overlook the continuity problems (that i know i harp on way to much) that are inherent in these franchises. The action looks great but the heart and soul of the X Men stories is what is most important to me. And this looks like they might have nailed it. My fears are vanishing quickly.

    WOW these scenes really got me rocked for this film. I am having higher and higher hopes. In fact i would say this looks awesome except that Banshee is supposed to be Moira McTaggert's man so i h ope they eventually get around to that. Its just that he looked a little to young for Moira so...not sue how that will work but you know how these movies and their comic book continuity is.

    Damn i cant wait for this.
