"Matthew showed me my costume just the other day. Now I swore I'd never be in heavy make-up again, but this role is going to involve it. But at least they said, "Don't worry, we'll add the tail in post". I am Azazel, and I can teleport by waving my arms [gestures like a cross between a flamenco dancer and a Bollywood star]."
The site was also able to confirm that Flemyng's Azazel will be red, as opposed to Nightcrawler's blue-skinned character. It wasn't clear, at this time, how big Flemyng's role in the film will be, but we'll be sure to keep you posted with any updates on X-Men: First Class as soon as we have more information.
X-Men: First Class was released June 3rd, 2011 and stars James McAvoy, Laurence Belcher, Michael Fassbender, Bill Milner, Kevin Bacon, Rose Byrne, Jennifer Lawrence, Beth Goddard. The film is directed by Matthew Vaughn.

Father of Nightcrawler? That means he gets frisky with Mystique.

To be honest, Tahyna Tozzi wasn't credited as Emma Frost in the film credits. However, commercials and trailers labeled her as Emma Frost. This tells me that the studio wanted her appearance to be somewhat noted. And this is what happened for many people that watched the film. The fact that the studio brought her to attention makes her role in Origins more than some "random mutant." So if her backstory is changed, then while not ruining continuity, it is a change, albeit small and inconsequential(in some eyes, including yours), they will slightly mess with their timeline. They could however, set this movie some time before Origins, erasing any timeline problem. Their only obstacle then would be concerning Alice Eve's age compared to Tozzi's, but that will easily be forgotten once we see Emma in her White Queen outfit.

So a non speaking role as some random mutant who was barely credited for an appearance is ruining your whole continuity experience Ejk1? Really? Why sweat the small stuff?

Another solid addition to this cast imo.

Yeah, but what about the edition of Emma Frost? She met Xavier for the first time at the end of Wolverine. Now, she's going to meet him for the first time again in this movie? This is confusing. I was looking forward to this, but the fact that they're not using the actual First Class in order to stay true to a movie series that totally veered off the rails is beyond me.

Cool stuff. Havoc, no cyclops. No jean Grey. Thanks for, at least so far, having some continuity to previous films.

This is good news, but they need to be careful not to bloat the cast. Something they really need to do is cast Jean Grey. As far as I know, no one has been picked for this role. How can there be a Moira MacTaggart, but no Jean Grey? This needs to be taken care of quickly.
