I don't think "original" ideas are their problems. I'm sure there are millions of scripts made daily by creative writers/people. It's just that, in this day in age (or during the past few years and upcoming few, for that matter) remakes are very popular. They are as they call it...a cash cow? They make a lot of money off of remakes because truthfully a lot of people go and see them. Let's face it, everyone here saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre and look how much better it was than that old sh*tty looking original. I have standards of what movies I watch and how they look profressionally. I'm sorry but I could give a sh*t less about movies that were before my early days as a kid. If the movie's sound and picture sucks ass...I am not going to watch it. Truth be told, I don't mind remakes or sequels, even though I'd rather see more sequels to good movies than to dumb movies like Step Up 2. I want a Ghostbusters 3. Plus, I think Warner Bros. owes Matrix fans another sequel after that horrible ending of the 3rd movie...a sunset? What? Or maybe even a prequel showing Morpheus looking for the one and how he recruits all those guys from the movies (e.g. Trinity, Siphor, Dozer, Mouse) and even throw in how machines take over and what happens to the world before everyone is grown. Just a few thoughts up my sleeve lol.

Ahh, the typical remakes sux reactions and without a frame shot yet.

Clive Barker is overseeing this Hellraiser remake, so, it will retain its creator's vision. Look forward to seeing it!

How about an original idea instead of remakes.
