Warner Bros. has released the first trailer and poster for Wrath of the Titans, which arrives in 2D and 3D theaters nationwide March 30. A decade after his heroic defeat of the monstrous Kraken, Perseus (Sam Worthington) -- the demigod son of Zeus (Liam Neeson)-- is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year old son, Helius. Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity's lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos, father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades (Ralph Fiennes) and Poseidon (Danny Huston). The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld. Perseus cannot ignore his true calling when Hades, along with Zeus' godly son, Ares (Édgar Ramírez), switch loyalties and make a deal with Kronos to capture Zeus. The Titans' strength grows stronger as Zeus' remaining godly powers are siphoned, and hell is unleashed on earth. Enlisting the help of the warrior Queen Andromeda (Rosamund Pike), Poseidon's demigod son, Argenor (Toby Kebbell), and fallen god Hephaestus (Bill Nighy), Perseus bravely embarks on a treacherous quest into the underworld to rescue Zeus, overthrow the Titans and save mankind.

Wrath of the Titans was released March 30th, 2012 and stars Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Édgar Ramírez, Toby Kebbell, Rosamund Pike, Bill Nighy, Danny Huston. The film is directed by Jonathan Liebesman.

    @defensorfortis - You are kidding, right? You know films like The Hobbit, The Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing Spiderman, Gravity, Skyfall: 007, Snow White and the Huntsman, Lincoln, World War Z, and about a dozen gangster films, all of which will be much better than Wrath of the Titans, are coming out, right?

    @Avian That was the problem i had with the remake of robin hood, THE HAIR. I understand this is a new era, a new reboot/remake, but when ur making films like these, You gotta make it look/feel realistic. If such film is taken place in the 1800s or at times where such gahets were not even around, ur actors r suposed to look washed up. dirty, long hair, hairy, raggy ass clothing, NOT clean cut, Clash of the titans would have been kool if his hair was long like Troy Polamalu LOL.
    As far as the movie goes.. this looks good, not great just good since theres never been a 2nd fikm to the old1. So this should look good! And when i was watching the trailer, i was like damn this would look good in 3d LOL sure enough this movie is shot in 3d as well. lolz

    I would see this, but I've already seen Disney's Hercules. j/k

    The trailer is good, but will the movie be the same? And why isn't Gemma in this? Bet Perseus dumped her after that, "Calm your storm." Line.

    Also, Sam's hair fits MUCH better in this than that jar-head cut in the first one.

    @moviegeek You know, after seeing The Hunger Games' trailer at the theater the other day, I decided I really liked what I saw. A big ol' tease leading up to the actual game, but then it stops. It made me want to see the rest of what was going to happen.

    Marilyn Manson's raping of The Eurythmics greatest hit aside, the trailer was pretty good. Although Gemma Arterton is nowhere to be found, I have somewhat raised hopes for this. Unlike the first film in this series, Wrath Of The Titans didn't have to follow a set storyline to follow (which in my opinion wasn't great anyways. Sorry guys, I'm not as fond of the original film as some of you), which allows more creativity storywise. I am interested in seeing what they came up with.

    Meh, whatever. Looks better than the first one.....but what the hell does that even say?

    SIDE NOTE: They need to axe this recent fad of putting heavy rock music into trailers......if anything, it takes away from the trailer and makes the film look sh*ttier.

    Whoever came up the decision to put Marilyn Manson, of all artists, in this trailer should be shot. Terrible, TERRIBLE choice.
