I don't get why people judged this film so harshly, either. It wasn't meant to be "Schindler's List." It's a fantasy romp through a mythological story. I thought the CGI was terrific and state of the art. It gave me exactly what I expected of it. A blast and a wild ride. If you don't care for the genre, you aren't going to have a great opinion, anyway...Personally, I enjoyed it very much and am looking forward to a lot more fun with the second one.

i think if Zack Snyder directed the Wrath, it would be of epic proportions. i love what he did with 300, and I thought Clash should have had more of the 300 feel to it. the slow mo, the epic landscapes, the creatures. lets all remember that Louis Leterrier directed the transporter movies. from Transporters to Clash of the Titans? i thought Legendary pictures wouldn't have settled for such a measley director, but the movie actually turned out better than i thought. some cheesy lines but some pretty cool visuals. i haven't seen Battle LA yet but it looked on the epic side from the trailers. now everyone was saying the camera work was really shaky to give it that more gritty yur right there with em type of action and I hate that. hurts my eyes. but maybe he'll evolve from his Battle LA work and hopefully make a f*ckin cool Greek God movie that is deserving of Liam Neelson and Sam Worthington. I think they're great actors and perfectly casted. but i'll reserve judgement till i see a trailer

I didn't hate Clash either and look for this one to be solid as well. I'll certainly watch this over The Hunger Games. I can wait for that to come out on Netflix!

Most definitely. Wrath of the Titans might turn it around via cool trailers and interesting tease..(The Mime has never used "via" in a sentence, ever. He just wants to try it out here with is movie friends)

I don't see what people have against Clash of the Titans. I was really bored when I saw Avatar and didn't expect anything better from Clash, but I ended up stuck somewhere one morning and this was the only movie I was somewhat interested in seeing and bought a ticket. It was an epic, entertaining and well-crafted film. A simple movie, but solid. I still don't get what people hate so much about it, it was a very honest and competently made Hollywood blockbuster, I suspect one must have the wrong expectations for this to have a bad time.

They can change the date all they want, I'm still not interested. Battle: LA wasn't all that great. It was okay, but not that memorable. So not even the change of director looks to be a saving grace. I have a feeling this movie will suck. It may be better than the first, but that's not saying much.

@furankisan So see it in 2D. That's what I'm doing.

Converting this to 3D again is going to kill it no matter how good the story. Again a mythology gets screwed.

Wow. I can't belive so many didnt care for the remake to Clash of the Titans. Now, as I know, it was no where near the story line the original was. But if you look at it, on its own merits, you should see it was entertaining, and pretty good. Did it have some major loop wholes? Yes. Like how could Zues not know his human/god= demi-god son was still alive? Or why was Medusa's lair was off the river sticks on the path to the underworld, yet had many statues of people turned to stone? Or the cheap shot and cameo of the rob owl was done the way it was. I personaly think the major story plot made alot more sence to the story then the original. This was him out for revenage for the death of his foster familey. The other, was he was out to marry and become a king becouse Zues wanted him to in not so many words. I wouldnt give it a 5 star rating, but it was a solid 3.5 flim.

I just cant see this film being any worse than the original. I would love to see Gemma Arterton back because she hot but i think they completly ruined her story in the first movie.
However, if you like to see Gemma Arterton do not miss the disappearence of Alice Creed. You can see quite a bit if you like...and not a terrible movie either.

I'm having doubts about this film now because of the director. (Battle LA) but this movie should be an action flick and that is what he seems to be good at
