I'm liking the look of the zombies, it's nice to see they're attempting to make them look slightly different to the generic look we see in every other zombie film.

Sadly, this looks to be a PG-13 zombie movie. Shame, it had such great potential...

I agree with GhostMan. Look what they were able to accomplish with The Walking Dead and that's on AMC. I just hope the zombies for WWZ are just as scary.

The zombies aren't really that scary looking. 8/

i was very excited about this film because the book was fantastic but now...i am not so sure. They are taking an amazing novel and turning it in to a generic zombie film. Disapointed.

The only problem i have is that I don't like the 'look' of the zombies, I'm sure they'll under-go changes in the finished film...

@dan1 @insertusernamehere If it was based faithfully to the book in it's narrative/interview tone, then it prolly would've turned into a 'mockumentary television series' for HBO or Cinemax, which would be very cool to see if they decide to do that after Paramount sees the monumental success of the film in December :)

@bawnian-dexeus A good bit, but that is only a minor part of my argument. More concerned with how they handle the overall story and further changes they make. I don't need to hear 'f*ck f*ckity f*cking f*cking f*ck' to enjoy it, but I also want something resembling the book in tone and narrative structure.

@dan1 Exactly how much cursing and blood goes on in the book. I'm curious

  25. Lord McLovin of MovieWeb

C'Mon guys, you never know if this could be like a hard PG-13 rated movie that can get away with stuff like The Walking Dead, it's 'TV14' and it's ultra gory, so why can't WWZ have a PG-13 rating? I have faith no matter what it's rated, this is going to be great!

  26. Dan

I care. I don't want to see what made the book so great utterly sh*t upon. I enjoyed the hell out of the format the story was told in, and it's gruesome details. And it's those two things that seem to be the weakest links thus far. Awaits that trailer next year to change my mind or confirm my fears.
